Chris Selena is the Associate Dean of Advising & Co-Curricular Programs and currently serves as the Senior Class Dean. He joined Lafayette in the Fall of 2014 as the Director of the Academic Resource Hub (formerly The ATTIC) after almost 10 years as a Learning Support Specialist and the Director of Disability Services at Centenary University. At Centenary, he was responsible for ensuring the overall accessibility of the institution and directed a developmental summer program in collaboration with the Educational Opportunity Program (EOP), as well as an intensive learning support program for students with disabilities.
A life-long Pennsylvanian, he earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Shippensburg University, Master of Science degree in Counseling and Educational Psychology from West Chester University, and his Doctor of Education from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. In addition to his role as the Director of the Hub from 2014 – 2022, Dr. Selena has also served as the First Year and Sophomore Class Dean. In his current position, Dean Selena plays a key role in supporting the intellectual and personal development of Lafayette seniors as they prepare to graduate and begin the next phase of their lives.
