What does being a first-gen student mean to you?
Being a first generation student to me brings motivation to give my all in everything I do. Having no real guidance in to how to maneuver my own college experience, I gained a passion in learning as much as I can and pursuing my goals at all times.
Why are you excited to be a first-gen mentor?
I’m excited to be a first-gen mentor to help alleviate any concerns students similar to me may have so that their college experience can be as stress relieving as possible.
