Students wishing to explore a possible Dean’s Excuse for religious observance must contact or meet virtually with Chaplain Alex Hendrickson or a Class Dean by 5 p.m. Friday, Feb. 4.
A comprehensive list of holidays may be found on this Interfaith Calendar provided by the Office of Religious and Spiritual Life. Requests will only be considered for observances that require your absence from class. If your request is granted, you and your professors will be notified.
We also encourage all students to take this opportunity to review Lafayette’s Dean’s Excuse policy, particularly the situations that are and are not covered by the policy.
